Holiday Tree Lighting Downtown
Super 8 Staff
The official lighting of the McCall Community Christmas Tree at Art Roberts Park in downtown McCall will take place at 6pm Saturday, December 1. In addition to the lighting of the tree, Santa Claus will arrive by fire truck with treats for the children. There will also be hot drinks and snacks at the park provided by Cheap Thrills Rentals and The Christmas House. For more info call 208-634-7631.

McCall Artist Connection

The McCall Artist Connection will host its annual Holiday Show at Whitetail Lodge over Thanksgiving Weekend in McCall. The show will be open on Firday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24 from 11am to 7pm each day at the Upper Pavilion at The Whitetail Lodge overlooking Payette Lake. More than 20 artists will set up for art lovers to purchase work for the home and the upcoming holiday season. Members will also be donating artwork for raffle to raise funds for the fledging organization.

Boise Philharmonic Concert

McCall will be the first stop during the Boise Philharmonic expanded Ensembles in the Schools on Friday, November 9. Boise Philharmonic's professional musicians will perform some of the greatest symphonic works for small enselbles to school-aged children in the McCall area free on that day then will follow up with a public performance that evening. The public performance begins at 6:30pm Nov. 9 at the McCall Community Congregational Church. Tickets cost $5 and are available by calling 208-344-7849.
